Because it’s not just about movement — it’s about obedience.
I’m sure you’ve heard people say, “Take a leap of faith.” But let’s be honest — that phrase has been watered down by being tossed around like a motivational bumper sticker. And to some, it sounds like moving blindly, acting without clarity, crossing your fingers and hoping it works.
But there’s a different kind of leaping that we’re being called to. The kind when you’re leaping in obedience as a response to a divine whisper, not just a wild hunch.
Think about Peter stepping out of the boat to walk on water. To the other disciples, it may have seemed reckless, but Peter had full cognition. He scoped out the situation, turned through his mental rolodex of miracles, and it all added up to stepping out on faith, rooted in who he knew Jesus was.

The right kind of leaping isn’t impulsive; it’s standing on the edge of “What if?” with knees knocking, eyes blurred, heart racing, and jumping anyway. You don’t even need all the answers, and it probably won’t make sense on paper. But when God says move, trust His voice more than your fears. He’s got you.
All it takes is 3 things:
Trust God to hold the parts of the plan you can’t see.
Know that you don’t need a Plan B when you’ve got a Word.
Stop shrinking just because the assignment feels too big for your history.
Understand that big leaps don’t always have to include quitting your job or moving across the country. Sometimes it’s as big and complicatedly simple as letting go of the old version of yourself.
This is your nudge to leap unshaken, not recklessly or for attention, but reverently on assignment. And remember, you’re not alone. You’re leaping with The One who called you in the first place.
And HE DOES NOT MISS.
With you in purpose and power,
Nesha
